Georgia's HOPE Scholarship is available to Georgia residents who are working towards a degree at an eligible college or university in Georgia.
The HOPE Scholarship will cover a portion of a student's tuition. Review the HOPE Award Amounts to determine your award amount.
Eligibility
Meet U.S. citizenship or eligible non-citizen requirements
Be enrolled as a degree-seeking student at a USG, TCSG or eligible private HOPE eligible college or university in Georgia
Earn a minimum of four full rigor credits from the Academic Rigor Course List from GAFutures
3.0 Calculated HOPE GPA
Georgia public and private high school students may check their high school HOPE GPA calculation and status upon completion of the 9th grade and by signing into their GAfutures account and select My High School HOPE GPA.
Important to note that this is different than the GPA listed on your transcript

Georgia's Zell Miller Scholarship is available to Georgia residents who are working towards a degree at an eligible college or university in Georgia.
The Zell Miller Scholarship award varies and depends on the type of institution you are attending and your specific hours of enrollment. Students that meet all eligibility requirements, and are attending an eligible public college or university, receive a Zell Miller Scholarship award amount to be applied toward standard undergraduate tuition, up to a maximum of 15 hours, for the specific number of hours enrolled, whether full time or part time.

Students are not required to graduate from high school with a specific GPA, however, they must have a postsecondary cumulative 2.0 GPA, at certain checkpoints, in order to maintain eligibility.

Georgia's Zell Miller Grant (a separate program from the Zell Miller Scholarship) is available to Georgia residents who are working towards a certificate or diplomat a Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) or University System of Georgia (USG) institution.
The Zell Miller Grant award amount is the standard undergraduate tuition rate based on the school the student attends and the number of hours enrolled.

Part-time enrollment in a HOPE eligible institution in Georgia
Students are not required to graduate from high school with a specific GPA, however, they must have a postsecondary cumulative 3.5 GPA cumulative postsecondary GPA, at the end of each term, is required in order to maintain eligibility.
The first term of enrollment will be paid retroactively if the student has the required 3.5 cumulative postsecondary GPA at the end of the term.
