It is the policy of the Gwinnett County Board of Education (“Board”) not to discriminate on the basis of sex, age, race, color, disability, religious belief, or national origin in the educational programs and activities, or admissions to facilities operated by the Board.
The Gwinnett County Board of Education does not and will not tolerate discrimination against or harassment of our students or employees. The term “harassment” includes, but is not limited to, slurs, jokes, and other verbal, graphic, or physical conduct relating to an individual’s race, ethnic group, color, sex, religious belief, national origin, citizenship, age, or disability. “Harassment” also includes sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, unwelcome or offensive touching, and other verbal, graphic, or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
Violations of this policy will subject an employee to disciplinary action up to and including employment termination. Students violating this policy may be disciplined up to and including exclusion from Gwinnett County Public School (GCPS).
If a student is a recipient of discrimination or harassment or witness discrimination or harassment of another student or an employee, please file a complaint with the school’s Title IX Coordinator, Dr. William Daniels.
