We empower students to become skilled readers, critical thinkers, and responsible users of information. Through access to diverse, age-appropriate resources, we promote literacy, creativity, collaboration, and lifelong learning.

Guidelines for Students
Access & Circulation
Students have a regularly scheduled book circulation time through their Language Arts classes.
Students may visit the Media Center independently during the school day with a pass.
Check-Out Policy
Students may check out up to three items at a time.
Books and magazines are loaned for a three-week period and may be returned at any time.
Students are encouraged to return items within the three-week period as a courtesy to others who may be waiting.
Overdue, Lost, or Damaged Items
Overdue items must be returned before checking out additional materials.
Lost books must be paid for before new items can be checked out.
Overdue fines are charged if a book is kept for more than one month.
Replacement costs for lost or damaged beyond repair books:
Hardcover: $20.00 Paperback: $10.00
Fines are processed through MyPaymentsPlus.
Technology Use
Computers are available for students and staff to use for research or classroom assignments.
Printing
Students may print a limited number of black-and-white pages in the media center using the desktop student computers. To access this service, visit during operating hours with a pass from your teacher and log in to a media center computer.
Please note: color printing is not available.
