Dear Dacula Middle School Families,

We are thrilled to welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we are so excited to partner with you on what promises to be a year filled with growth, connection, and opportunities for your child to thrive as a R.E.A.L. Falcon—Respectful, Engaged, Accountable, and a Leader. We are looking forward to our first day of the school year on Monday, August 4, 2025.

Mark Your Calendars! Open House is Tuesday, July 29 at the times designated below: 

A-G:  12:00 – 1:00

H-M:  1:00 – 2:00

N-Z: 2:00 – 3:00

Please abide by the assigned times for Open House to accommodate parking and relief from overcrowding. For your convenience, there will be shuttle buses running from Hebron parking to and from Dacula Middle.

In preparation for Open House, there are a number of important Orientation Documents for you to complete. Please see the list of important dates and tasks below and be sure to add them to your calendar.

Monday, July 21: Complete GCPS Back To School Orientation Forms that will be emailed to you via ParentSquare. 

GCPS Orientation forms include the following:

• Breakfast/Lunch Forms

• GCPS 25.26 Student Conduct Behavior Code

• GCPS 25.26 Handbook Information

• Attendance Protocol

• Extracurricular Activities

• Media Release

• Parent AKS Overview

Tuesday, July 22: Complete the DMS Back to School Orientation Forms that will be emailed to you via ParentSquare.

DMS Orientation forms include the following:

• DMS Student/Parent Handbook

• Expectations for Cell Phones/Electronic Devices

• Car Rider/Walker Information/Sign up

• Permission Slips for access to DHS and Dacula Park

• Permission Slip for videos

Completing these DMS and GCPS documents ahead of time is necessary and will help ensure a smooth and efficient Open House experience. 

Tuesday, July 29: Open House

We can’t wait to see you at Open House! This will be a great time to meet teachers and get energized for the year ahead. On the morning of Open House, parents (and students) should access their (child’s) schedule via the ParentVUE app or the StudentVUE app. Once your child has reset his/her password, they will be able to access their class schedule the morning of Open House. Students will report to their homeroom teacher upon arrival to Open House at their designated time.  Access the Directions For Resetting Passwords. 

Please see the linked Back To School Task List for a complete list of tasks to be completed prior to Open House. This includes directions for:

You will receive another email via ParentSquare from Dacula Middle on July 25 with a flow chart, reminders, and directions for Open House. Until then, you can remain up-to-date on all things Dacula Middle, by visiting our school website.  Scroll down to the News and Announcements section and click on our Back to School tile for more information regarding important back to school information. This section contains each grade level’s supply lists. You will also find information on how you can pre-order your child’s school supplies while supplies last from our Falcons Nest School Store while supplies last.  School Supply Kits contain each item listed on the supply list and come with a Dacula Falcons cinch bag. Orders will be available for pick up in homerooms on the day of Open House.

As part of GCPS's annual security updates, all middle and high school student passwords were reset on July 7, 2025. Communication was sent directly to students and families via ParentSquare on June 27, 2025. Elementary students' passwords were not reset. 

For your awareness, here is the Password Reset Document outlining how-to reset and activate student passwords for the 2025-2026 school year.
