Exam Tips for Success

      1. Know the format. You will first have multiple choice style, matching or rearrange questions at first. These questions relate to knowledge of Google products, usage and ideology behind Google products. The next part is task based. You will be asked to log into a google account (The instructions will provide this for you) and you will complete various tasks.

      2. Length of Test is 3 hours and costs $10.00. Once you register for the exam and receive your start instructions, you have 7 days to start. Save your receipt for reimbursement.

      3. The results are emailed to you when you finished. The results do not always come straight away and require a little bit of time to grade.

      4. Use an Incognito Window. For the exam you have to use incognito windows. Click the three dots in the upper right and you will see " new incognito window".

      5. Pin Tabs to keep from accidentally closing a window. Right click a tab at the top and an option will appear to "pin". Repeat the process to unpin.

      6. Your web camera is watching you but you can get up to go to the restroom if you need to. Don't close your computer but simply face it away from anyone who may walk by. You don't have to remain in front at all times, but another person cannot sit down and have their picture taken while the exam is going on.

      7. Have a friend or trainer on call for questions. If you run into something in a question or task that you don't know how to do, open a new tab and Google the answer or look it up. You are allowed to do this! The purpose is testing your ability to know what to do or how to...

      8. FIO - figure it out. Don't freak out, you will be asked to do something that you may not remember completely. Relax, and figure it out.
