Does i.t. provide checkout devices?

We are working with departments across campus to address emergency equipment needs. Please complete this form to notify us if you have equipment or Internet access needs.

If university equipment is unavailable, can I use my personal computer?

Yes, but please be mindful of your device's security according to our security training. Also, please note that some services might require a VPN to access. Follow this link for more information on which services might require a VPN.

Can I download eSU software at home?

Essential campus-wide software and services are available for home use. These include Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Jabber and SharePoint/OneDrive. Most are also available as web-based services and don't require installing the full client for basic functionality. This does not necessarily account for specialized/department-level software that may have unique licensing or access restrictions. More Info

Do I have to use the VPN?

Some ESU services do require you to access them by first connecting to the VPN. These are listed on our VPN information page.

can I forward my ESU phone number to my personal phone?

In most cases, this is not possible. Review our options for Campus Phone routing for frontline departments and services.
