Modern Languages Minor 

Concentrations in Spanish 

14 credits @300 level or above 

Prerequisites:  (10 credit hours)

Spanish

any combination of 100 or 200 level course work

 or Placement by Exam:  Students can take the placement exam and move into a 300 level course and concurrently enroll in the TP sections of the language and earn credit for the introductory levels.

Required Courses: 

Spanish 3

SA 313 Spanish Language & Culture 3 5 credit hours 

OR  

SA 314 Span Heritage Lang & Culture  5 credit hours 

SA 339 Reading and Conversation  3 credit hours 

 AND 

SA 359 Advanced Grammar & Composition  3 credit hours 

One Additional course from Spanish -- 3 credit hours

Elective courses are offered every semester, and students may choose to complete Study Abroad experiences to earn credit.
