In modern times, scientific journals have become flush with information on the healing properties of various fungi. There is an overwhelming amount of evidence pointing to their health benefits. It has been indicated that they offer support and benefits for DNA, blood sugar, breathing, the GI tract, energy & stamina, the heart, the immune system, the liver, memory & cognition, the mood, nerves, and more (Stamets, 2020).
