Over the last few months, the students have worked as sustainable business owners to come up with their own eco-friendly fashion brand using English resources and presenting their ideas in English.
We began the project by watching some YouTube videos about Upcycling to find out what it was and why it is important for the planet
Then we used the European Union website to find out more about climate change and how important it is that we try to reverse the damage we are doing to the environment
Then it was time for the students to think like business owners: how would they start their sustainable fashion business? What were the first steps they had to take?
Then it was time for the students to get creative and think about what they wanted their brand name to be, design a logo and come up with a catchy slogan to attract customers. We had lots of fantastic designs, such as this one from EcoTech
Then it was time for the students to think about how they wanted their products to look. What was their target audience? Were they trying to appeal to all ages or specifically teenagers?
As you can see from this fantastic example, their creativity really flowed!
Finally it was time for our business owners to design their website to show off their products. We had some very professional examples!
Now that it's time for me to go home, I would like to say thank you to all of you for being great students this year and working so hard with me on the project. ¡Ha sido un placer!
