This assignment involved first bringing a sketch of our room to class in our notebooks, including measurements and as many details as possible. Once the sketch was complete, we went to the computer and used the Home by Me application. This application has everything needed to project our room onto a 3D webpage with all sorts of details. Finally, we had to take three photos of our room on the webpage from any angle. Then, we had to put the photos into a Google Doc and write a short description of our room in English.
This assignment involved the teacher giving us a series of examples of shelters for different situations, such as natural disasters and addictions. After the examples, we had to think of four different situations and how we would solve them, including what type of shelter we would use. Then, in pairs, we had to think of a situation where a shelter was necessary and design/invent one with our chosen partner. We had to consider what it would include, what it would be made of, and also create a drawing of the shelter with measurements, a sketch, and views. I did this with my partner, Alejandro Márquez.
