What programme we have developed

Our new partner school is sending five students and two teachers to our school on a visit to develop a program of joint activities between Italian and Spanish students, as well as three organized cultural visits.

The Italian students will also occasionally visit some of the classes their Spanish counterparts attend. Italian students live together with Spanish students in their homes.

Finally, this mobility it will conclude with the recording of a radio podcast program.

How does this mobility take place?

Italian students and teachers were welcomed to the Cordoba´s train station on Monday, 10th of October 2022. They are received by Spanish students and families, as well as Erasmus teachers, Juan José González and Antonio Romero.

Day 1:

On Tuesday, October 11, Italian faculty and students were welcomed by our principal and History teacher, Luis Miguel Prados and Erasmus KA121 project coordinator, Antonio Romero. We reviewed the work plan, visits and activities to be carried out.

Afterwards, the students, accompanied by their Spanish counterparts, were given a guided tour of the school. After the break, students and teachers went on a cultural visit to the Mezquita of Córdoba, carrying out an interactive activity as an Erasmus mobility project related to the European cultural heritage. Teacher and counsellor, Tibu González, accompanies students and Luis Prados guides the visit.

Day 2:

October 12 is Spain's national holiday. Our students participate in the celebrations with their families and socialize in the afternoon.

Juan Eloy Tenorio, one of our Spanis students, tell us this about this free day:

"My family, Tommaso and I have attended the ceremony of the Patron Saint at the Civil Guard Headquarters and then we have gone to the cathedral to a mass in commemoration of the Virgen Del Pilar".

Day 3:

Today, our students visit the Museo del Aceite "Molino Viejo", in Cabra, accompanied by Erasmus teachers Toñi Moral and Alberto Segovia. Before that, they will taste a traditional andalusian breakfast in the anciente train station of Luque. Both visits are a faithful testimony of the old industrial heritage of the Cordoba rural areas, as well as examples of environmental sustainability and local development.

Day 4:

Today, October 14, we work in the school. From 8:30 in the morning, Italian and Spanish students prepare with their teachers Patricia Martini and María Colandrea the recording of radio programs (podcasts) that close the program of activities. Students use a form set up by the IES Ángel de Saavedra.

Afterwards, joint groups of Italian and Spanish students (as well as boys and girls) record a programme in which they are interviewed about their Erasmus experiences by Spanish teacher Antonio Romero with the help of the Italia teachers Patricia Martini and Maria Colindrea .

These activities take place in the school yard and are part of the celebration of the 2022 Erasmus Days of the IES Angel de Saavedra.

13:00 horas. El director del IES Ángel de Saavedra, Luis Prados, junto a la coordinadora Italiana, Patrizia Martini, entregan los certificados de participación y aprovechamiento de este proyecto Erasmus.
