Durante el segundo y tercer trimestre del curso escolar, el alumnado de 1º y 2º de ESO participó en una actividad educativa en el Cementerio Inglés de Málaga. En total, fueron cuatro los grupos que tomaron parte en esta salida cultural, cuyo objetivo era acercar al estudiantado a la historia y el patrimonio local de una forma original y participativa. La visita giró en torno a una gymkhana titulada El gran juego del Cementerio Inglés, una propuesta lúdica diseñada para que los y las estudiantes descubrieran, a través de pistas y retos, las historias de algunas de las personalidades enterradas allí, así como aspectos históricos, artísticos y botánicos del lugar. La actividad resultó muy enriquecedora, fomentando el trabajo en equipo, el respeto por el entorno y el interés por la historia de Málaga desde una perspectiva diferente y motivadora.

As part of the bilingual project, we have held a bookmark contest in our different levels. This year's topic has been: Taking Care of the Environment. The works have been done in French, English and Spanish.

En el @iesteatinos, como parte del proyecto bilingüe, hemos realizado un concurso de marcapáginas en todos los niveles. La temática de este año ha sido el cuidado del Medio Ambiente. Los trabajos se han hecho en francés, inglés y castellano.

Some students of 2nd ESO wanted to express their thankfulness for all the good things they have, such as a family, education, friends, sports and … Peace. This was an activity proposed during Thanksgiving in November. This year we wanted to show all their works in a tree in which they also designed some Christmas cards writing their best wishes.

En este pequeño árbol algunos alumnos de 2º de ESO comparten sus trabajos de Acción de Gracias, en los que expresan su agradecimiento por todo lo que tienen, como una familia, educación, amigos, deporte o … La Paz. Esta actividad fue propuesta en Acción de Gracias, en noviembre. También se muestran pequeñas tarjetas de Navidad con mensajes expresando sus mejores deseos para todos.

On February 14th, St. Valentine, we published a big poster with a different message: Friendship. Our students participated explaining why they need to have friends.     Feb24

We celebrated the Peace Day to make students deeply understand the meaning of this world. The students created beautiful drawings with symbolic sentences for this festivity.

Here we have our beautiful Christmas tree. This year, our students wrote nice messages for Christmas and the New Year in different languages. We are lucky to have students from different nationalities, so they participated writing these beautiful messages in their mother tongue.    Dec23

Thanksgiving, one of the most beautiful festivities in different countries, was also celebrated in our community. We asked students to give thanks to those people or things they appreciate the most. To do so, we asked students to write a message on a paper feather to create our own turkey that displayed what each student was thankful for.   Nov23

Every September we celebrate the European Day of Languages. This gives value to the differences of languages and encourages students to study a foreign language. They participated by drawing symbolic pictures and writing meaningful sentences.    Sep23
