Our students designed an assessment evaluation scale of green areas in big cities.
With this template they first evaluated "Parque de María Luisa" in Seville, which is a big park where nature and culture co-exist.
Our goal was to do this first analysis to later apply the same scale on another green area of a big city in Europe, in this case, Berlin.
Given that we hosted our German partners before travelling to Germany, we could take this first step of the project. Our students visitted together Parque de María Luisa so that they could later debate on which level of assessment should this green area be classified according to the designed template.
After analysing all sustaiable aspects present in different social spheres (school, familiy, city) in several places (Coria del Río vs Jena and Weimar) the time to do final analysis considering a big city arrived.
Since we had already applied our Sustainable Scale Template to our analysis on Parque de María Luisa (Sevilla), we wanted to contrast the results with Tiergarten in Berlin.
Here you will see the templates used per groups of works, some pictures used for the analysis and the final assessment of the park taking into account all the groups results.
