INFORMATION FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE ASSISTANTS
Welcome to CEIP La Inmaculada!
Located in the modern area of Cádiz, our school is in a growing neighborhood, well connected by public transport and just a short distance from Cortadura Beach—an ideal spot for outdoor activities. We have a diverse and engaged educational community, with an active parents' association (AMPA) that organizes events and collaborates on various projects.
We are a bilingual school with 198 students from Early Childhood Education (age 3) to 6th grade. Our school is linked to IES Fuerte de Cortadura, ensuring a smooth transition to secondary education. Our spacious facilities include 18 classrooms, a library, a gym, specialized learning spaces, and outdoor areas such as a school garden and a dining hall.
We also offer additional services like a morning care program, a school cafeteria, and extracurricular activities.
As a language assistant, you'll find a welcoming environment where you can immerse yourself in the local culture while supporting our students in their English learning journey.

Ubicado en la zona moderna de Cádiz, nuestro colegio está en un entorno en expansión, bien comunicado por transporte público y cerca de la Playa de Cortadura, un espacio natural ideal para actividades al aire libre. Contamos con una comunidad educativa diversa y comprometida, con una AMPA muy activa que organiza eventos y colabora en múltiples proyectos.
Somos un centro bilingüe con 198 estudiantes desde Infantil hasta 6º de Primaria y estamos adscritos al IES Fuerte de Cortadura, lo que facilita la continuidad educativa. Nuestras amplias instalaciones incluyen 18 aulas, biblioteca, gimnasio, aulas específicas y espacios exteriores como un huerto escolar y comedor.
Además, ofrecemos servicios complementarios como aula matinal, comedor y actividades extraescolares.
Si eres auxiliar de conversación, en nuestro colegio encontrarás un ambiente acogedor donde podrás sumergirte en la cultura local mientras apoyas el aprendizaje del inglés de nuestro alumnado.

ACCOMMODATION:
- Utilize "fotocasa" or "idealista" for apartment searching, as well as asking the school.
- Most auxiliares have shared apartments in the past few years. Some have rented an individual room in a
local's house.
