WELCOME TO IES VELÁZQUEZ

Hi there! I My name is Luciano Sánchez and I am the bilingual coordinator for the High School “Velázquez”. It’s in the historic center of Seville,surrounded by all major sites in this amazing city.

During the 24-25 academic year, we have 2 language assitants: Julia and Estella. Both of them come from the United States and we hope they have a wonderful year with us.

Here you’ll find a document about the school and all the necessary information on how to arrive to the school. Please read it in this order so that it will make sense to you. You can also have a looka at the Instrucciones for the year 2024-2025.

C.A.S.A ASSISTANTS

Gracias al acuerdo que mantiene nuestro centro con el Consortium for Advanced Studies Abroad, a través de la Universidad de Sevilla, varios estudiantes norteamericanos, irlandeses y australianos, realizan prácticas de conversación con nuestro propio alumnado. Estos estudiantes pertenecen a prestigiosas universidades como Harvard, Cornell o Trinity College Dublin y supone una experiencia realmente enriquecedora para todas las partes implicadas. Durante el curso 25-26 contamos con la colaboración de Danny y Brian en el primer trimestre y durante el segundo tenemos la suerte de tener siete voluntarios: Jack, Olivia, Sophia, Libby, Louise, Cole y Margaret. A todos ellos y ellas les deseamos una profechosa estancia en nuestro centro y en Sevilla!!
