One more year our students and the community at IES Nestor Almendros enjoyed an incredible day with the celebration of the IV Olympic Games. Our beloved Ximena carried the Olympic torch this year. Our Diversificacion students performed beautifully the role of Greek Gods, the library students collaborated with the throne and all the necessary tools before the ceremony. Our music teacher prepared the hymn with all the groups, in English students prepared their speeches, in the History Class students learnt about the Greek Empire and our PE teachers prepared our athletes to be incredibly fit for the IV Olympic Games. Congratulations ,not only to the winners, but also to all the participants who, in a way or another, made this special day possible at our school.
