SETA Best Young Scholar Award
The "SETA Best Young Scholar Award", accompanied by a $3,000 prize, honors the most outstanding paper presented by a young scholar at the annual SETA conference. Eligibility is limited to papers not coauthored with advisors or senior colleagues. Selection is based on the quality of both the research and the presentation. Eligible candidates include scholars pursuing a PhD or those who have completed a PhD within the past five years, with the award granted to the presenter. To apply, candidates should select the relevant option during conference registration and upload an updated CV. An ad-hoc committee, comprising two continuing SETA members and one member designated by the local organizers, will evaluate the submissions.
