MS8 Cross-Project Workshop on
Weather Prediction and Control
Welcome to the MS8 Cross-Project Workshop on Weather Prediction and Control.
The aim of this workshop is to promote interaction and collaboration among researchers in the field of weather prediction and control.
This workshop is intended exclusively for researchers participating in MS8 projects and invited speakers.
The scope includes, but not limited to:
- mathematical methods to control extremely high dimensional chaotic Earth systems
- meteorological research to discover and understand novel mechanisms useful for weather prediction and control
- Data-driven approaches to improve weather prediction towards its control
- Disaster risk management in the weather control era
- Ethics of weather control
We place special emphasis on providing early-career scientists with opportunities for their presentations and networking.
Participants can expect:
Cutting-edge insights into weather research from keynote speakers
New collaboration and networking opportunities with top-notch players
An opportunity for presenters to gain multidisciplinary feedback
