ICRA 2022 Half-day Workshop

Toward AI-embedded robots in 2050

Friday - 27 May 2022

13:45 - 17:45 (EDT local time)

Room 124 and Zoom

Summary

Robotics and automation technologies have contributed to our quality of life, and in recent years, their performance has been further enhanced by their integration with artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. However, much of this work targets current problems; it is important to share a vision of the future with AI robots and discuss the technologies that should be developed.

This workshop consists of two technical sessions and a vision contest session. In the technical sessions, invited speakers will present their visions and cutting-edge research on the themes of "Daily Life with AI-embedded Robots in 2050" and "Work Life with AI-embedded Robots in 2050. The Vision Contest session aims to encourage the younger generation of researchers, especially those interested in visualizing their dreams, to share both their visions and the research needed to make them a reality.
