A1.出願時に大学の学部の在学中であれば、出願に際し卒業証明書の提出は不要です。また、代わりに卒業見込証明書を提出する必要もありません。

A1. If you are still an undergraduate student by the application period, you do not need to submit a "degree verification document" when applying. Also, you do not need to submit a certificate of expected graduation instead of a degree verification document.

Q2. 修士課程出願にあたり、現在、東京大学ではない大学の学部４年生に在学中だが、「成績証明書」を提出する必要はあるか？

Q2. I am currently a fourth-year undergraduate student at a university that not UTokyo, and I am considering applying for master's courses. Do I need to submit a "Transcripts of Scholastic Record"?

A2. はい、提出する必要があります。

A2. Yes, you must submit it.

Q3. 修士課程の社会人特別選抜に出願を希望していますが、出願システムでは志望指導教員が1名しか選べません。第2志望、第3志望の志望指導教員を選択することはできますか？

Q3. I wish to apply for the Special Admissions for Working Adults for the Master's Course, but I am not able to only choose one faculty member on the Web Entry System. Can I select my second or third choice of faculty members?

A3. 修士課程の社会人特別選抜に出願する方は、志望指導教員は1名しか選択できません。

A3. No, the applicants who wish to apply for the Special Admissions for Working Adults for the Master's Courses cannot select your second or third choice of faculty members.

Q4. 博士後期課程の農業・資源経済学専攻に出願するにあたって、WEB出願システムで「修士学位論文又はこれに代わるもの」の題名の入力が求めています。しかし、『募集要項』では農業・資源経済学専攻の出願者は、この入力が免除されています。どのように対応すればよいでしょうか？

Q4. I wish to apply for the Doctoral Course in the department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, and I am required to enter the title of the "Master's Thesis or its substitute" on the Web Entry System. However, the applicants for the Doctoral Courses in the department are not required under the "Application Guideline". How should I work this matter?

A4. 博士後期課程の農業・資源経済学専攻の出願希望者は、WEB出願システムの該当欄には「農業・資源経済学専攻に出願希望」と記載してください。

A4. The applicants who wish to apply for the Doctoral Course in the department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, please write "I wish to apply to the department of Agricultural and Resource Economics" in that section on the Web Entry System.

Q5. 修士課程の応用生命化学専攻（または応用生命工学専攻）に出願するにあたって、WEB出願システムでは志望指導教員を第3志望まで選択できますが、『専攻入試案内』では「第2志望まで」と記載してあります。第3志望を選択することは許可されていますか？

Q5. I wish to apply for the Master's Course in the department of Applied Biological Chemistry (or Biotechnology), I can choose my third choice of faculty member on the Web Entry System, but the "Department's Admissions Guide" mentions "up to a second choice". It is allowed to choose my third choice, or not?

A5. 修士課程の応用生命化学専攻（または応用生命工学専攻）の出願希望者は、第3志望を選択することを許可されていません。第3志望の教員を選択した場合は、出願完了後、自動的に第3志望の教員が削除されます。なお、第3志望の教員を削除したことについては、メールにて連絡させていただきます。

A.5. The applicants who wish to apply for the Master's Course in the department of Applied Biological Chemistry (or Biotechnology) are not allowed to choose the third choice of faculty member. If you select the third choice on the Web Entry System, we automatically remove the third choice faculty member after completion of application. Also, we will email to the applicant about the removal of the third choice faculty member.

Q6. WEB出願システムにアップロードした顔写真が不鮮明かもしれない。写真を再提出した方が良いか？

Q6. I uploaded my face photo on the Web Entry System, but I think the photo is indistinct. Is it better to resubmit my face photo?

A6. もし問題があれば大学院学生担当からメールで連絡いたします。

A6. If there is any problem about your face photo, we the graduate student section will contact to you by email.

Q7. 修士課程の応用動物科学専攻（または生圏システム学専攻）への出願が完了しましたが、受験票の「専門科目」の欄に何も記載されていません。この状態は正常でしょうか？

Q7. I have completed to apply to the Master's Course in the department of Animal Resource Science (or Ecosystem Studies) on the Web Entry System, but there is not any information in the section of the "Specialized Subjects" of my Examination ID Card. Is this situation normal? 

A7. 正常です。その状態で問題ありません。

A7. Yes, it is normal. There is no problem with that situation.

Q8. 修士課程の森林科学専攻の一般選抜に出願を希望していますが、「入学後の研究計画書」は提出する必要がありますか？ 

Q8. I wish to apply for the Special Admissions for Working Adults for the Master's Course in the department of Forest Science, do I need to submit this document?

A8. あなたがA日程の 出願者であれば、提出は不要です。B日程に出願している場合は提出が必要です。一方、社会人特別選抜の出願者は、A日程かB日程かに関わらず全員が提出する必要があります。

A8. If you are an applicant who are applying for "Schedule A", you need not submit the document. If you are applying for  "Schedule B", you must submit the document. On the other hand, all applicants who are applying for the Special Admissions for Working Adults are required this document regardless of whether "Schedule A" or "Schedule B".

Q9. 出願が完了しましたが、必要書類のアップロードを忘れてしまいました。再度出願したいので、別のアカウントを用意してWEB出願システムで再出願を行ってもいいですか？

Q9. I have already completed my application procedure on Web Entry System, but I forgot to upload a necessary document. I would like to reapply to submit the necessary document, so can I reapply after activating another my account on Web Entry System.

A9. 別のアカウントで再出願することは絶対にしないでください。不備書類があった場合は大学院学生担当からメールで対応方法について連絡します。

A9. Never reapply for a different account on Web Entry System. If there is any problem in your submissions, we will email you about that solution.

Q10. 私は農業・資源経済学専攻の出願者ですが、「小論文」の課題はいつ頃送付されますか？

Q10. I am an applicant of the department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. When am I given the "Essey" assignment by email?

A10. 7月初旬に送付予定です。

A10. We will send the assignment in early July.

Q11. 「受験者心得」はいつ頃届きますか？

Q11.  When will I receive the "Gudelines for Examinees"?

A11. 受験者心得は、A日程は令和６(2024)年7月上旬に、B日程は令和７(2025)年１月上旬 にメールで送付します。A日程については令和６(2024)年7月17日(水)までに、B日程については令和７(2025)年1月15日(水)までに受信しない場合は、直ちに農学生命科学研究科教務課学生支援チーム大学院学生担当に連絡してください。 

A11. “Guidelines for Examinees’” will be sent by e-mail in early July 2024 for Schedule A and in early January 2025 for Schedule B. If you have not received the Guideline by July 17, 2024 (Wed) for Schedule A, or by January 15, 2025 (Wed) for Schedule B,　immediately contact the Graduate Student Section, Academic Affairs Division, Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences.
