This is my second year at Sam Houston Elementary School. I graduated in 2008 from the University of Texas with a kinesiology degree. I then went on to work for my dad for a couple of years in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I decided to get back into teaching in 2012 and fell into the world of special education. Since 2012, I have been a paraprofessional, resource teacher, inclusion teacher, and most recently, a behavior support specialist. During that time, I also picked up a Master's in Special Education. In Texas, I have taught in Aubrey and as part of the Denton County Special Education Cooperative. I am excited to get back into a gym and use the knowledge I have gained over the last few years to enrich the lives of our students here at Sam Houston.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have been married for 12 years to my wonderful wife and we have two daughters. I also enjoy playing sports. All the sports. My interests change ever so often but as of now, golf and tennis are the sports I'm trying to improve myself. I grew up playing basketball and baseball but I have a love for all things sports and recreation.
