Hello and welcome to my page! I am the Math Co-Teacher for Seventh and Eighth Grade, and I am looking forward to a spectacular year at Navo. My duties include servicing ALL students in the classroom, with a focus on working with those that are have learning difficulties. I strive to create plans for their success throughout the middle school years. Collaborating with my team about the students' modifications and accommodations is an intricate part of my job, as well as helping students figure out the best methods for learning content material. I have a thirteen year old son named Caleb that keeps me on my toes! My hobbies include playing cards (especially spades) and beating the drums. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.

Work: I began my teaching career in 1998 as a long-term substitute teacher at McMath Middle School in Denton, TX. The following year I accepted a Special Education position and taught Resource Math, English, and History. In 2004, I became the Inclusion Specialist for 6th grade; I held this position for two years. I joined the Navo family in 2007, serving as a 6th grade Inclusion Specialist, and Step Team Sponsor. I have been in various Inclusion positions since that time, and have totally enjoyed every minute of it! I became a Math Coteacher in 2013, and have served in this capacity with great enthusiasm and determination to help all students grown.
