Welcome to the Union Park Library!

I am Cathy Howington and I am your librarian! I have been teaching in Denton ISD since 2008 (!) and I am so excited to start our 6th year at Union Park Elementary! 

I have a lot of names... Mrs. Howington, Cathy, Bruh... but my favorite name is MOM! I am the proud parent of 2 kiddos, a 3rd grader at UPE, and a 7th grader at Strickland Middle School!

My partner and I have been married for as long as I have been teaching and we really love to travel, be outside, hang out, and play with our many animals! We have 4 chickens, 3 fish, and 2 dogs! 

I can't wait to get started this year! It's going to be a great one!
