Welcome to my webpage! This will be my 18th year in the classroom. I taught 10 years in 4th grade and this will be my 8th year in 2nd grade. I grew up in College Station, TX and moved to Denton to attend the University of North Texas. I graduated UNT with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and am certified to teach Early Childhood to 4th grade.
My wife and I are blessed with two amazing children; Matthew, a 9th grader who loves tennis and computers; and Sam, our outgoing 4th grader. The newest member of our family is a tuxedo cat named Tucker. In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar, video games, and spending time with my family.
