In this course, we will explore journalistic writing, literary nonfiction, nonfiction reading, fiction analysis, position papers, dystopian literature, and research skills. We will apply the workshop model in our learning experience.

The sequence of units will be:

• Q2: Contemporary Fiction (reading unit)

• Q2: Position Papers (writing unit)

• Q3: Dystopian Fiction (reading unit)

• Q3: Literary Essay (writing unit)

• Q4: Test Prep (reading unit)

• Q4: Research Skills (writing unit)
