Meet the Directors

Alanna Baxter is currently going into her first year as a head choir director, making this her third year as a Viking Choir Director, and could not be more excited. She began her teaching career as a Strickland Viking in the spring of 2024 after graduating with a B.M. in Music Education from Texas Woman’s University. She loves scrapbooking, reading mystery novels, playing with her puppies, Enzo and Ellie, and chilling with her cat, Eve, in her free time. 

Chloe Spellmann is excited to begin her second year as a choral director. She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2024 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Outside of the classroom, she loves scuba diving, experimenting in the kitchen, getting lost in fantasy novels, and spending time with her two cuddly cats.
