I created a surreal painting inspired by Ngai Wing-Lam, Ant using the colors from Ollie  Le Brocq’s “Immersed” portrait as my color palette.  

I first brainstormed some ideas to paint, and then made a color swatch with my chosen painting. I took my best idea and created a final project on watercolor paper. The paint used is gouache. I love how bright and vibrant the colors are, but I wasn't consistent in my grid colors.
