My name is Larissa Sherman and I am looking forward to this year. I can't wait to get to know you and your child as we work together to ensure a successful year. This is my twenty-fifth year of teaching. Twenty-one of those years have been here at McNair! I’ve taught 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade. I grew up in Germany, Minnesota and Richardson. I graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, TX in 1993. I attended the University of North Texas here in Denton and graduated with a degree in interdisciplinary studies in 1997. I live in Argyle with my children, two dogs, and three cats. My children are in 11th grade, a freshman in college, and I have a 24 year old daughter who recently graduated from TWU and is getting married in October 2021! I enjoy playing darts, reading, the outdoors, and traveling. The most beautiful places that I've visited, so far, are Dubrovnik, Croatia and the Bavarian region in Germany!

This will be an amazing school year. It will be full of learning and making memories!
