All About Mrs. Denison

 Thank you for stopping by my website! I am so excited for this school year and all the fun we are going to have in Third Grade. Here are some fun facts to help you get to know me.

 I was born and raised right here in the wonderful city of Denton, Texas. I went to Denton ISD schools from 1st-12th grade and graduated as a Raider from Billy Ryan High School in 2010. From there I attended The University of North Texas (Go Eagles!) where I got my degree in Elementary Education, as well as obtained my English as a Second Language certification. Denton is my home and I can't think of a better place to grow up and live in. Majority of the time I can be found watching a Dallas Stars game, listening to Justin Timberlake, crafting, working out, or spending time with my family.

 This is my tenth year in teaching, eighth year as a Hawk Maverick and eighth year teaching Third Grade. I have taught First, Second, and Third Grade. Teaching has been my passion and my dream for as long as I can remember. Being able to help children grow through academic and social skills is what I strive for every single day. Seeing the smile on a child's face when they achieve something new is one of the greatest feelings that I could ever imagine. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for all of the students in my classroom. I am blessed to be able to teach alongside such amazing educators to ensure a positive future for our wonderful students!
