Hello Gators! I'm Jenn Runion, and I am the school counselor at Savannah Elementary.  Many of you may recognize my face, as I have previously taught for the last 15 years, here at Savannah. I am so grateful to be transitioning into this new role! I will be serving our campus and community by assisting students in developing social skills, managing emotions, and resolving conflicts. I will work collaboratively with admin, teachers and students to help support with academic planning, and overcoming learning challenges. As well asl collaborating with parents and guardians to support their children's education and well-being.  

When I am not serving as the counselor,  you can find me at a football game or at a volleyball game, cheering on my two kids.  My son Jett, is going to be a Sophomore at Houston Christian University where he plays football, and my daughter is going to be a Junior at Aubrey Highschool, and plays Volleyball.  We're a very active family, and enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling together. My family is the heart of who I am, and that love pours over into my work at Savannah. I want each child and staff member to feel seen, heard, and known.
