Math 8 Course Recovery
Rising 9th graders
Face to Face
Required for students who did not successfully complete Math 8. (Math 8 is a state prerequisite for Algebra I.) Students who did not pass Math 8 in the regular school year and do not successfully complete this summer recovery option will be required to enroll in an additional math support elective in 9th grade.
In-person instruction at each MS. [Harpool MS and Crownover MS students meet at McMath MS.]

Virtual/Asynchronous
Designed for students who have taken but did not pass one or more semesters of a core course required for graduation. Students can enroll for up to 2 semesters at a time (and can take one additional semester, time permitting). A diagnostic assessment allows students to advance through areas where they show mastery. Students must be comfortable working independently at home. (This is a voluntary program.)

HS Spanish I Rising 9th-12th graders

Program available for high school students who wish to accelerate in Spanish so they can enroll in Spanish II in the upcoming school year. (This is a voluntary program.)

Designed for rising 12th grade students who wish to meet TSI exemption requirements for the purpose of demonstrating College, Career, and Military Readiness -- in Math or English. Students who successfully complete this course are awarded 1.0 elective state credits toward graduation and would be considered college ready by NCTC for some courses. (This is a voluntary program.)

Designed for rising 8th grade students who wish to satisfy their career and college exploration requirement before the beginning of the school year. In this course, students will discover their interests, explore career pathways, and identify ways they can . Through assessments, career research, and job-seeking skills, students gain valuable insights into in-demand careers and postsecondary options. (This is a voluntary program.)
