Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year.

I grew up in Bossier city, Louisiana near Barksdale Air force base. I relocated to Oklahoma after high school when my father was transferred there. I started college at Oklahoma State university where I met my husband, who I have been married to for twenty-four years we have two children. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in December of 2001. I taught 8th grade math and high school credit Algebra in Tulsa, Oklahoma for three and a half years. My husband job relocated us to Houston Texas. I taught 7th and 8th grade math for three years in Cypress, Texas. I taught 7th and 8th grade intervention and 8th Grade math at Navo Middle school for five years and this will be my 3rd year at Cheek as Math Department head, 8-1 Team lead 7th honors and 8th grade math.
