Personal and non-DISD Instruments, Class Supplies
Orchestra students must have a wood-colored instrument, and bow. Best practice is to rent one from one of these vendors, because your payments accrue towards purchasing an instrument, and the vendors handle repairs, replacement parts, and upgrades within your contract.

Class Supplies
1. Director approved instrument and bow
2. Black Binder with see-through plastic overlay (provided)
3. Shoulder rest for violin and viola: Kun or Everest are recommended brands.
4. Rock stop for cello/bass
5. Pencil (at least two at your stand each day)
6. Rosin
7. Soft cloth for cleaning
8. Copy of all material provided from class- this should be organized in your binder.
10. Music stand for at-home practice
11. A digital tuner. (You may purchase a stand alone tuner, or use an app
