Mrs. Robertson's 3rd Grade Class

Class Dojo: This is my main form of communication with you. I post fun pictures of our day, send reminders, make announcements, and can quickly respond to your messages during the day. Your messages will pop up on my phone like a text message so it is easy to stay in touch! We also have a blast in room 209 and I love sharing that with you via pictures/videos. I highly encourage you to join our class, download the app, and turn notifications ON. Students will also earn lots of points throughout the year to earn class rewards. Any points deducted from a student will always be followed with a note, message/email, or phone call home to explain what happened during the day.

Volunteer Application: I understand that sometimes we send our kids to school and have no idea what happens during their day. How scary! I love bridging that gap and making you a part of our learning and fun. In order to spend time with us, it's extremely important that you complete Nelson's volunteer application as soon as possible. This is necessary in order to chaperone our field trip in late spring.

Videos & Recordings: I am a member of the Literacy Leaders cohort in Denton ISD. Our purpose is to deep dive into the Reading and Writing curriculum to guide and train other teachers across the district. As part of this team, I will be recording full lessons periodically throughout the school year. These recordings are for district training use only and will never be posted to websites or social media outlets.
