All grade level students are allowed to join RMS Student Council. Elected candidates must be 8th graders or 7th graders as needed and approved by sponsor. Members must be passing all of their classes to participate in events and activities. We follow UIL grade check dates. Stuco members must follow Denton ISD and RMS rules and expectations. As leaders of our school, students must be good examples for their peers - responsible, trustworthy, dependable, respectful, etc.

Recycling Team
Recycling Team
RMS Stuco members head up our campus' recycling team. They work together to organize and plan for weekly recycling collection. Our campus works with the city of Denton to educate students about recycling.

Morning Announcements
Morning Announcements
RMS Stuco members lead our morning announcements each day. They work with various groups that includes students, teachers, administration, and office staff to engage students, setting a positive tone for the day as they inform everyone about current RMS events. Our goal for regular announcements is to build positive school morale and to help build a sense of school spirit and community. Each day students will be asked to stand and say our pledges (Pledge to the American Flag, Pledge to the Texas Flag), observe our moment of silence, and recite our Viper Core Values.
