I'm looking forward to being your child's English teacher this school year. I have taught a total of 21 years, and 16 of those years were at Savannah Elementary teaching 4th and 5th grade. Last year was my first year as a middle school teacher; I taught 6th grade English and loved it. This year I will be moving up to teach 8th grade English. I am an avid reader and enjoy discussing books with others.

My family and I live in the Savannah community. My son will be in 9th grade this year at Braswell and hopes to be very involved in the theater department. My daughter will be in 11th grade this year at Braswell and is part of the girls soccer team. My husband too is part of the DISD family. He works within the Technology Department and ensures all campuses receive their technology. As for the rest of our immediate family, we have two supporting figures in our lives...our fur babies, Bunker and Zeus. Despite the crazy traffic, we love being part of the 380 corridor.
