Ms. Bourey works diligently to ensure all students have an equal opportunity to learn the material in any class she is a part of. She works to ensure that she understands a topic, often doing extra research on her own to inform better any student who may have struggles. She also shares interesting resources she comes across with the teacher of record to help the learning remain more engaging for the student. Without asking, she will help with classroom procedures and prep work during any downtime she may have in the classroom. I have never seen this woman rest; she is simply an amazing person and an asset to the classroom.

When Maddy did the science quiz questions all correctly on her own. .
When Hunter speaks out the correct answer right after I read the question and the choices.
When Jason asked me to do the test review with him after school.

Why I Love Working Here
I love working at Crownover Middle School because of the staff. Everyone here is very supportive and eager to lend a helping hand. Besides that, my kiddo goes to school here, and it is just 2 minutes away from home.
Fun Fact About Me
I love traveling around the world. When I was single and living in Malaysia, I took 6 months off work to travel around Europe by myself.
Favorite Moment on the Job
Last year, I worked with a kid that could be quite difficult. He did not like having me walk with him to class or even to be around him. When I had to talk to him or correct his behavior, he would get very upset and use unkind words on me. On the last day of school, in a very serious voice, he told me, "I am going to miss you...there I said it." That really surprised me!

All the students love her. She greets everyone with a smile. When people think of Crownover, they first think of the fantastic, welcoming lady at the front desk. Why I Love Working Here
I’ve worked in the District for 13 years and have spent that time at Crownover. Many changes have happened during the 13 years, but the one thing that has remained consistent year after year is Crownover's high caliber of admin, teachers, and staff. Each person brings their unique qualities and personality with them. I have enjoyed getting to know each person and working with them in a loving, and caring environment.
Fun Fact About Me
In my time away from Crownover, I love spending time with my husband and daughter.
I also spend my time buying and selling antiques. I maintain several booths in an antique mall in North Denton.
Favorite Moment on the Job
The greatest compliment I've received is when parents tell me they love coming in because the office feels so welcoming. It doesn't get much better than that!

Hello, I am Rebecca Noel. I have been with Denton ISD since September 2013 for over 11 years. I am the registrar/AP secretary and help wherever I am needed.
Why I Love Working Here
I feel blessed every day I enter the front doors here at Crownover. It allows me to positively impact young people’s lives by setting an example and helping them learn and grow. I feel so lucky to experience the joy of witnessing the development and growth of the students and my colleagues, who so graciously give me a sense of belonging to a community.

I enjoy baking and cake decorating cakes for people. I find joy in creating delicious-tasting treats that bring everyone a smile.
Favorite Moment on the Job
My favorite moment on the job was the day Mrs. Hailey said yes!!! I had changed jobs and moved to Guyer High School. I came to Crownover to deliver a cake for Ms. Ibarra’s baby shower. While here, Mrs. Woods informed me that she was leaving. I then saw Mrs. Temple, who said she would take Mrs. Woods's position. I then saw Mrs. Hailey and asked if I could return to Crownover….
She said yes!!! And the rest is history. I am back home, and I plan to stay forever!!!

Favorite Moment on the Job
This year, one of the students I work with pretty closely put some effort into studying for a test. When the student got a good grade on the test, they gave a quick, small, and satisfied smile. I hope this small victory will inspire the student to keep trying.
