Requirements for membership in the Bronco Scholars National Honor Society:
- Have been enrolled in high school for at least three semesters.
- Be at least a spring semester sophomore.
- Maintain a weighted GPA of at least 4.5.
- Maintain good character: no violations of academic integrity, no placement in ISS, consistent attendance at school.
- Commit to community service.
- Work toward leadership opportunities.
Membership Process
In late January or early February of each year, Ms Lentz will email all sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are not already members of NHS and who have a weighted GPA of at least 4.5. The email will have general information about our chapter of National Honor Society and will also include a link to a Candidate Form. Membership Process
Students must submit the Candidate Form no later than the deadline (which is usually shortly before Spring Break). Our Faculty Council will review the information included in each Candidate Form and vote on offering membership to candidates. Ms Lentz will email all candidates with the results of the Faculty Council vote.
An induction ceremony will be held in April for all new members.
