Mrs. McClure - Librarian

Mrs. McClure has 20 years in education. She began her career in elementary teaching fourth grade in Pilot Point ISD. She accepted a position, two years later, with Denton ISD teaching second grade. Mrs. McClure made the move to secondary as a member of the original staff hired when Navo Middle School opened in 2006. She taught sixth grade reading for seven years before transitioning to the library in 2013. Mrs. McClure holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Specialization in Reading from Texas Woman's University as well as a Master's of Library Science from Sam Houston University. Currently, Mrs. McClure is a student at the University of Texas at Arlington obtaining a Certification in Educational Leadership.


Mrs. morrow - Library Assistant

Mrs. Morrow was raised as an “Air Force Brat” and has lived all over the world and all over our beautiful country. She attended the University of Colorado and Texas Tech, with an emphasis in British Literature. She spent 10 years in Tucson, AZ as an Elementary school librarian, and has worked as a Children’s librarian in public libraries. She moved to Texas in 2009, and began working with DISD as a substitute teacher in 2010. She was hired as the Library assistant in 2013.
