I am Emilee Waldo, and I am so excited to be your child's 2nd-grade teacher this school year!   

Here is a little bit more about me! 

I grew up in Washington state! I grew up on the East side of the state in Spokane Washington, and went to college on the West side of the state at Seattle Pacific University. Six months after graduation I made the drive down here to Texas!

Once in Texas, I became a substitute while working on transferring my certification. I got the privilege of teaching at Providence almost the entirety of last year but this will be my first full year with a class of my own and I couldn't be more excited!

I met my boyfriend Devin in college three years ago now and I am so proud of what we have been able to accomplish together thus far. We have an incredible rescue dog and are currently in the process of rescuing a second! In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, being outside in nature and spending time with Devin and the dogs.

I can't wait to serve your children this year. I'm excited for us to work together and see what we are able to learn and accomplish this year!
