All About Ms. Passons

Hi!  My name is Angie Passons.  I was born on July 5th and grew up here in Texas.  I live in Denton with my two kittens, Sophie and Tucker, who fill my heart!  I graduated from Texas A&M University (Gig'em) in 1998 with a degree in Elementary Education, specializing in reading and science instruction.  This will be my 27th year of teaching and my 18th year here at Blanton. I love being a teacher and making a difference in children's lives! My goal is to help them be successful and grow in to life-long learners. I am so excited to be here at Blanton teaching our 5th grade Noble Knights! It's going to be a fantastic year! 5th grade ROCKS!!!

Favorites:

• Drink: Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar and Coffee (Dunkin' Donuts is my fave) 

• Snack/Candy: Crumble Cookie (Sugar is my fave but I love them all!), Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Cheese-It's, Candy (love anything chocolately or fruity tart/sour)

• Color: Teal and Coral, also anything Rainbow!!!

• Activities: Crafting, Being Outdoors, Relaxing, and Spending Time with Family and Friends

• Children's Books: Because of Winn-Dixie, The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate, and The Giving Tree

• Sports Team: Dallas Stars and Mavericks

• Shopping: Amazon, Kohl's, Maurice's, and Hobby Lobby               

• Restaurants: Mi Dia, Hillside, BJ's, Cheesecake Factory, Blue Goose, Chuy's, Grimaldi's, Mt. Fuji or any fun new restaurant to try!
