Hello! My name is Tiffany Mize. I am so grateful to be a part of the Adkins Elementary family! This will be my 12th year of teaching.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas. During college, I served as a Pre-K instructor for the City of Denton and supported students as an AVID tutor. Since graduating, I’ve had the opportunity to teach 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade—and I’m thrilled to be in 4th!
Teaching is my passion, especially when it comes to making math meaningful. I love helping students see how math connects to real life and empowering them to become confident problem-solvers. I’m dedicated to building a classroom that is diverse, inclusive, and full of energy—a place where every student feels valued and challenged to grow.
I grew up right here in Flower Mound, TX and graduated from Marcus High School. I am a mom to the sweetest, always singing and dancing 5 year old who keeps me on my toes. In our free time, we love going to the park, swimming, baking and visiting new places.
