My name is Mackenzie Hampton and I am ecstatic that I get to be your students' teacher this year! I joined Adkins in the Winter of 2023 as a 5th grade teacher. I taught 5th for two years and am very excited to begin my third year of teaching as a Kindergarten teacher!

I came to Denton to attend the University of North Texas and decided that I never want to leave! Denton has brought me so much joy through its many forms of community! I graduated UNT class of 2023 with a degree in Elementary Education which led me to Adkins, the best school ever!

In my free time, I am either reading with my cats, attending a cycling class, or eating some yummy food in downtown Denton. I love to try new foods and am always looking for the best chips and queso!
