Hello! My name is Amy Buniva, and I am so glad you are here! I graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Psychology. I loved my time at Tech, and I really enjoyed learning about child development, social emotional learning, and teaching methods. 

I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten at Cross Oaks again! This will be my third year. I loved helping my students learn and grow last year, and I cannot wait to see that growth happen with my new students!

I grew up in the Houston area. My family moved to the Denton area a few years ago, and I have really liked it here! I love the community and living close to a lake. I have spent the last four summers as a lifeguard at a lake camp; I love all things water related! I also love spending time with my family and friends, playing games, traveling, and going out to eat.
