Classroom Expectations

Expectations:

I will follow directions quickly.

I will listen when others are speaking.

I will raise your hand when you need to talk.

I will respect others, self and school.

I will be safe, be honest, and ready to learn.

Consequences:

The first time a behavior occurs, the student will receive a verbal warning.

The second time a behavior occurs, the student will lose point on classroom dojo and color personal take home behavior chart.

The third time a behavior occurs, the student loses a dojo point and loses a privilege (ex: computer time, choice center time).

The fourth time a behavior occurs, a note will be sent home and/or phone call will be made to parents. Teacher will set up a conference with a parent and/or a counselor.

The fifth time a behavior occurs, the student will be referred to the office.

Students have the opportunity to move their clip up on the chart as well, by receiving a compliment, going beyond what is expected, making good choices, correcting behavior, etc.

Rewards:

Move their clip up on their individual behavior chart to green and recieve positive Class dojo point.

Receive a prize from the treasure box or another reward such as lunch with teacher, take your shoes off, switch seats and sit by a friend, bring a stuffed animal, write with a pen, etc.

A positive note home.

Extra technology time after activity is completed.
