This is my 23rd year in education. I have been at Adkins since we opened in 2014 - 2015, and I LOVE teaching here! I have been married to my husband Christian since 2002. Our son Noah is a sophomore, and our daughter Maggie is in 3rd grade.
When I am not teaching I love spending time with my family, swimming, reading and watching the Boston Red Sox! I was born in Boston. We moved back to my parents’ hometown, Syracuse, New York for several years, and then our final move was to Richmond, Texas where my parents still live. I have loved living in both parts of the country, but let’s face it; the people in Texas are the friendliest people in the world...particularly Aggies! I went to Texas A & M for five years, but got my teaching certificate from UNT. My husband and I loved Denton so much, we decided to stay!
