This is my 20th year teaching and 7th year at Sam Houston.  I have taught pre-k, first, third and fourth grade. I graduated from Eastern Illinois Universtity.

I moved to Texas 10 years ago from Illinois along with my husband and 2 daughters, Grace, 25 and Madison, 21. I love living in Texas, but miss the midwest falls.

Grace teaches at Denton High School and is the assistant varsity soccer coach.  Maddie attends NCTC and works at DCC.

When I am not at school I enjoy running, reading and watching sports.
