Greetings, Mustang Families!
Join us in going green this holiday season by collecting your rigid blocks of white Styrofoam from packaging this holiday season to be recycled at school January 6th through the 9th! Denton Sustainable Schools will pick up the collection to be recycled at the City of Denton's Home Chemical Collections, which now accepts Styrofoam and is available as a recycling resource to all residents.
Please see the flyer for acceptable types of Styrofoam to collect. You can drop off your Styrofoam this week at Shultz or have your student bring it, and place it under the stairs past the teacher workroom.
All Shultz Elementary students and their families are invited to a special Ryan High School Lady Raiders' basketball game this Friday evening, January 9th. This is an amazing opportunity to see the STATE CHAMPIONS together with our Mustang community!
The game begins at 5:45 pm, and there is no cost for Shultz Elementary students, families, and staff. Everyone will enter through the front of the school, and you can grab a drink from the Chug Wagon or Travelin' Tom's Coffee on the way in.
