Wow! Can you believe it is almost Thanksgiving?? Our feast is this Friday! Please click this link to send or bring an item for the feast.
Please check with your child about their school supplies, several students are in need of scissors. ✂️
🥳Here is a sign-up for BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS. We will celebrate once per month. We have combined some of the months for the summer birthdays. Please take a look.
Important Dates:
11/18- Reading Interim Test- This is a STAAR practice test. It is so students can see the testing platform and get familiar with the tools they can use on the actual STAAR test. We will not be sharing results with students or parents. Students should get plenty of rest, eat a healthy/hearty breakfast, bring a snack and dress in comfy clothes.
11/20- Multicultural Night! 6PM@Cafe
11/21- 3rd Grade Thanksgiving Feast 11:30-12:30-***See the link above to send/bring something for the feast.

Reminders:
Send a labeled water bottle and a healthy snack each day.
Students may want to bring a jacket or hoodie each day. Our classroom can get chilly.
Please write your child's name in their jackets/hoodies.
Please check that your child has headphones and art supplies.

Election Day
Tomorrow is election day. If you didn’t participate in early voting, please make sure to get out and vote tomorrow!
Among many other things on the ballot, Prop A is very important to Denton ISD. Make sure to do your research before you vote so you can make an informed decision!
Take your kids! Model how you find credible sources to get your information. One of our TEKs is civic responsibility and what a great way to show the next generation of decision makers, leaders, and voters what is means for fulfill our civic responsibilities no matter how you vote in this election or any future ones.
