Water Bottles:  Students need a water bottle in class daily.

Snack:  Snack time is at 1:00 each day.  Please send an easily accessible snack with your student daily.  I will always take donations of pre-packaged snacks for students that do not have a snack.

Lunch:  Our lunch time is at 10:45-11:15.  Parents/loved ones are now welcome to join their student for lunch in the cafeteria.  You must sign-in to the front office and then wait for your student outside the cafeteria.  The tables at the front of the cafeteria are for parents and their students to sit at.

Restroom:  We have a restroom in the classroom and students are able to access the restroom at anytime during the day.  It’s always a good idea to keep a clean change of clothes in backpacks in case of an emergency.

Birthday Celebrations:  You are welcome to send birthday treats for your students birthday if interested.  Store bought items are always best.

Book Bags:  Each night your student will be bringing home their book bag.  Please do your best to read each night with your child from the books in the book bag and complete one homework assignment from their Homework Journal. Book bags will come home every afternoon and come back to school every morning.

Absence Notes: Please make sure to submit an attendance note when your child is absent.

Volunteers:  If you are interested in volunteering, please let me know.  There are many ways to volunteer: working with students, at home projects, class parties, and field trips.  In order to volunteer, you must fill out a background check on the Denton ISD website each year.
