Meet our team!
I'm Mrs. McDonald, the Professional School Counselor at Cross Oaks. This is my 7th year as a school counselor and my 3rd here at Cross Oaks. I went to school at the University of North Texas where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and my Master's Degree in Counseling. My role as the school counselor is to support students with bi-weekly classroom lessons, group counseling, individual counseling check-ins, and family support services. I live in Sanger with my husband, 5 year old son, and 8 month old son. I look forward to working and getting to know you and your students!

I I have been in education for 26 years, 18 of those in Counseling. I was the counseling coordinator for Garland ISD Before I came to Denton ISD. My other career is as an athletic trainer in Frisco. Mental and physical health are both important to me. I have 1 son in middle school, and I have been with my husband for 32 years. I am also involved in animal rescue.
